When the Australians post, they post alone. That should not be - they have the largest concentrations of humanity in their neigbourhood timezones.
There used to be posters from the indian subcontinent here.
The same for Russians and Italians.
It is not just language - the machine translators can work well.
They've all gone away to their own part of the fediverse, or to their own national centralised social networks or the american ones.
Sad. Everyone in their own bubble.

Sonntag. Erneut zeitlos im schwierigen Sinne. Wetterbeobachtungen, noch kein klares Bild. Das Dorf bleibt unhörbar unsichtbar und trotzdem gegenwärtig. Kaltes Wasser auf den eigenen Falten. Nacht verfällt, Träume werden blasser, Puls nahe Normalwert und irgendwann ist der Augenblick wieder richtig und passend. Küchenform, Kaffee, Brötchen im Backofen. Genug Kanten, die sich polieren lassen. Habt es mild heute.

A lot later: Recovering. Letting the day the evening sink, feeling the tiredness in every step and the frost creeping in again. Conversations with a bright moon, a church just dimly lit in comparison, and the music left and right of it just slowly calming. Here, in a way, even though unsure what that means. Sleep tight everyone wherever you are.

Einen Steinwurf weiter warten hochpreisige elektrische Fahrräder in Reih und Glied auf neue Kunden. Rabattwerbung, Herbstaktion, alles muss raus. Man ertappt sich in komischen Gedanken zu Nachhaltigkeit und Solidarität - und der Frage, inwieweit es letztlich trotzdem immer nur um Verkauf und einen anderen Ansatz von Individualismus geht. Ganz gleich, wie wohlmeinend die Absicht auch sein mag.
