Erster Kaffee, erstes Seufzen, noch keine Nachrichten und über dem Hof finden einige Vögel neuer Lieder. Besser so als anders. The calming sensation of being surrounded by the own neighbourhood again, of feeling the warmth from its old stones, breathing its scent, perceiving its light behind still-stained windows. Late bus, almost empty. Two electric scooters behind the stop, green lights flashing and it's not possible to break into their conversation. A new neighbour on the balcony, short pants, heavy tattoos and a bottle of thin beer which seems an odd contrast to the rest of his appearance. Staring into distance, mind chasing clouds and stars and, as ever, waiting for some dreams to sink into. Have a soft evening wherever you are.

Zerrissene Himmel, fahles Licht, der Ventilator treibt feuchtwarme Luft um die Tische und Beine, Stunden vergehen und das Denken fällt schwerer. Benachrichtigungen, zufällig sortiert. Erstaunen weicht Erkenntnis, Begeisterung schmeckt anders. Lose Blätter, lose Enden, kalt gewordener Kaffee. Die Prioritäten des kommenden Tages lassen wenig Raum für Abweichung von festen Routen. Close to 4pm again. A different black tee, keeping jackets in the backpack for now. No good choice of music but some aural environment is needed to calm down the inner monologues stirring up each other. Closed doors, staircases, the backyard, the fountain and no particular mood under a light blue sky.

Leerlauf am offenen Bürofenster, für kurz, bis die Flut der Eindrücke gehobener Jalousien überfordert: Irgendwo braten Würste auf einem Grill. Gegenüber wird der Balkon gereinigt, der Hochdruckreiniger pfeift, ein Nebel aus Tropfen zieht durch das Geländer langsam stadtauswärts. Ein startendes Flugzeug, Güterwaggons auf den Gleisen hinter der Häuserzeile und unten werden Kisten und Kartons in einen Transporter geladen, zwei sind schon der Schwerkraft gefolgt und die Laune in der Kommunikation ist angespannt. Dinge, die einen nichts angehen und die sich trotzdem aufdrängen. Obstpause. Kaffeepause. Keine angemessene Distanz zu allem.
