!Friendica Support Two questions related to custom channels because apparently I'm missing something obvious: (a) Any recommendations on how to build a channel that only contains posts by mutuals, regardless of protocol (AP, AT, Diaspora*)? I'm seeing that "Friends" relationship in contact management but am unable to use this for a channel directly. Also, I thought there'd be something like this by default but I fail to find it. And / or (b): I'm following a bunch of hashtags out here, as do I import posts for some hashtags from Tumblr and load my pinned feeds from Bluesky. Is there any way to make all these "non-follower" posts go to a custom channel to not flood the default network timeline? It's not that I do want to completely suppress them, otherwise I'd probably remove these subsccriptions, but I don't want them to be permanently around.

Ideas on that, anyone? Like, is there any written guide on how to set up a channel to make use of the channel_cache? I've been briefly browsing the code last night but failed to completely grasp it. Idea would be to have a pattern, like, "just posts from people I am in some kind of relation with", or "filter everything coming from a followed hashtag, a connector-imported hashtag or a connector-imported feed". The channel documentation doesn't even outline how to build a channel just using posts from "friends"/mutuals.

@Michael 🇺🇦 Yeah, I did that, but I'm not sure what to do afterwards. I /think/ I will need some filter definitions somewhere in the channel setup (for which I am unaware of the syntax to use)? Or should "filter channel" or something like that explicitely show up somewhere in the settings? If the latter is supposed to happen, then that would explain things and my setup isn't working. Also didn't really find anything to read up on that so far.
