Follower power / #Fediverse meta stuff: For some posts, regardless of account or software, I see a difference in boost count and the actual list of accounts displayed as having boosted that particular post. Is it just me? Any idea what's going on there? Bridges? Relays? Or just yet another inconsistency?

@💀⛧ RandomMusickMayhem ⛧💀 It's not, like, bothering me very much. It's more like in most of these situations... an odd feeling that software development at some point does have a quality issue and it might be increasing, for ... particular reasons. And I'm torn between accepting that kind of DIY attitude to things - and still feeling a bit unsettled by it. I mean after all these are just the visible issues...🙈
