(In some situations, switching back and forth between tools, you all of a sudden notice: There's only "better" or "worse" but never really "good" or "bad". It's all relative. It's all about comparing. And it's all, in a way, too, about a culture that makes comparing, choosing, switching an almost cult-like lifestyle, that focuses quite a bit on re-evaluating decisions and ultimately ending up running in loops and spending hours and hours to this, hours that can't be spent to other more satisfying and maybe more purposeful activities and ... in an odd and somewhat gloomy way I wonder whether, keeping "products", tools, ... constantly at a level where they are just "better" or "worse" than others while never being good enough to stick with a decision for really long, is one strategy of a certain social system to keep people busy and from digging into other, more pressing aspects all too much.)
