(Also, wasted parts of lunch break trying to install #LineageOS on an older Samsung A series device I've been given a couple of weeks ago and just do not ever let anyone nudge you into trying this unless you really really REALLY know what you're doing and have a second device in your drawer that is ready to serve as a daily driver if or when things go wrong.)

@💀 Mirko 💀 Haven't so far bricked it but did several factory resets all along the way and it feels just like black art, like: Enable developer options, enable OEM unlock, reboot several times (and eventually check for software updates) until that "enable OEM unlock" remains visible, checked /and/ disabled (meaning the device is unlocked) and then eventually ... follow up trying to install a matching boot loader and eventually a matching image. It's ... weird. It takes time. And there are so many odd edge cases. In favour of Samsung, though: It seems hard to really break the device at this point. It's mostly just steering through the fog, reading outdated documentation and eventually trying to find what could be wrong /now/...🙈
