We report: only the brightest stars remain - of which, all things considered, there are many. Mirfak, Hamal, Aldebaran and Menkar, most of the Auriga constellation, and of course, Mars and Saturn are visible. For some reason, however, we cannot look away from the moon.

Early late, or late early, depending on measured versus perceived daytime and the general mood related to that: Back inside. A bit dizzy, a bit covered by summer, a bit dusty and more than just a bit tired. Watching a tremendously wide, quiet sky slowly fade into soft darkness. Music from the pub is a bit louder today, rough voices involved into ongoing discussions outside, one tries hard to not get mentally entangled all too much. Flipping through pages, collecting liner notes, dashes and all the words to be written in between the lines, and shaping them into a story or a fairytale or maybe a poem, whatever seems most appropriate between today and tomorrow. Morning light on Little Tahoma Peak and Emmons Glacier, Mount Rainier National Park, Washington

This side of Mount Rainier felt much more dramatic and glacial in the early morning light.

The jagged ridges, deep shadows, and broad snowfields gave the scene a colder, more powerful mood, almost like the mountain was still holding onto the night.

This was taken from Sourdough Ridge, just above the Sunrise parking lot. Moments like this are why I love being up there before the day fully begins.

AI makes it harder to do meaningful and good prototyping. Prototyping that actually gets you the answers you need without wasting your time.
